A customer has requested the ability to adjust the opt-in/opt-out settings by groups. They issue to different groups based on region, and some regions are ok with the opt-out option, while others require the recipients to opt-in. Since this is currently one setting across the Spotlight Directory, they cannot differentiate these flows.

I also could see this being beneficial for people who divide their programs utilizing collections or departments.
